Is it possible millions of people around the world to ask or to vote for a movie, a product or even something more important and this be realized?
My opinion is that this can be achieved. I think that in ten or fifteen years from now, this will be the way in which humankind will decide for many things. But perhaps this can be done even today. For example with a movie.
Why I chose the making of a movie?
Up to now the mode of production of consumer products, including films, based on a specific process. A firm-driven process. But now we are in an era in which people, either individually or in organized groups, can be expressed for everything through modern means available in their hands. And this shows that in a few years the production process will become customer-driven.
Unlike the development and production of a product, e.g. an electronic device, it 's easier for people to participate directly in making a movie. For that reason I propose the making of an audience-driven movie which the script will be written depending on the rates that will take each option of the poll.
A production that combines the "reality" of a film with the real thoughts of ordinary people about the past, the present and much more about the future of the world.
Why I chose this topic for the poll and for the screenplay of this film?
In recent decades, much has been said about earth, humanity, environment, finance, wars, terrorism, poverty, religion, politics, governance. Each of these issues has been the subject of many books and novels, of scientific papers and lectures or the subject of many documentaries and films. Also every individual has his thoughts about these issues but there are three main categories, three basic groups of theories about all these.
One includes conspiracy theories that emerged during the last century and have affect the public mind. According to these theories there are extremely powerful people or organizations who through political, military and financial actions aimed to control and dominate all countries and humans.
Another group is the scepticism. Scientists, politicians, academics, journalists and others criticize the conspiracy theories and characterize them as unfounded. They follow the rules of logic and consider that history is written by humans themselves as they living in organized societies and make decisions through specific procedures and rules.
The third major group includes those who await the fulfilment of prophecies and those who support the scenarios of natural or supernatural disasters that will bring the demise of modern civilization, even the whole of humanity. Generally, in these theories, the nature or, for many people, God has absolut control of history and leads the world in a prescribed end.
If you're familiar with these theories or believe in any of these you can vote until 12/25/14 and leave your own mark in "The World After 2012".
